Leicester City to learn 2026/27 League One fixtures on June 25 release

Leicester City will discover their 2026/27 League One fixtures when the English Football League releases the schedule at midday on June 25. The club, recently relegated to the third tier, will also learn their draws for the Vertu Trophy and other domestic competitions for the upcoming season starting in August.
The English Football League will release the 2026/27 League One fixtures at midday on Thursday, 25 June. Leicester City await 2026/27 League One schedules across three competitions ahead of the season starting in August.
League One is set to begin between 14 and 16 August, with full fixture lists available on the EFL’s official channels, including individual club pages. Leicester City drop into the third tier after relegation from the Championship, marking just the second time in the club’s history they have played at this level. In the 2008/09 season, Nigel Pearson led a campaign that resulted in immediate promotion back to the Championship.
Additionally, Leicester City will return to the Vertu Trophy group stage for the first time since November 2008. In this competition, formerly known as the Football League Trophy, they will face three teams in their initial group. Broadcast selections are pre-arranged, with the opening weekend of League One shown live on Sky Sports and Sky Sports+. Kick-off times for televised fixtures will be confirmed upon the release of the schedule.
